'The Winter' team at the Berlinale

Kostas had never been to Berlin before (or Germany for that matter) and to arrive for the Berlinale Film Festival is an especially magic time. And it seemed the city was conspiring to charm him with fresh snow and street kebabs scattered amongst the fantastic festival programme.

In the middle of our own edit, it was great to hear talks from Walter Murch, and from other directors who made it successfully through their first films.  I've been to the festival before, as a Talent Campus participant in 2006, but this was the first time I'd attended the European Film Market with a project of my own in hand. It's exhilarating and intimidating.  Great for getting our ideas together for release, though.

Next year, it'll be our turn to screen at festivals...
